Now Hiring -- Contract Marketing Coordinator

Standard code is looking for a part time Marketing Coordinator to help spread the word about all the cool work we do. This person will write, read, talk, chat, and help us consolidate our products into a cohesive message for the public. It’ll be rad!

We're not really a startup -- we're a profitable, growing, 100% employee owned. This basically means we're more mature than your average small company but we still have a lot of things to figure out. And you can be a part of that!

This position is ideal for someone relatively new to marketing and eager to learn how to market a product

Bonus: an affinity and understanding of global health, in particular global health issues in Africa.

  • Effective communication skills

  • Ability to quickly absorb complex information (with help from us, don’t worry!)

  • Comfortable writing short and long form articles, blog entries, tweets, etc

  • Loves meeting new people

The responsibilities of the position include:

  • Maintain multiple newsletters

  • Weekly blog entry

  • Help identify trade shows and other healthcare related meetings we should participate in

Why you want to work with us:

  • We're a fast growing, profitable company

  • But we're bootstrapped so we get to do whatever we want

  • We do world changing stuff (no, we really do -- check it out!)

  • We're located in Switchyards in downtown ATL. Come hang out with us and get free coffee, breakfast, and lunch!

  • We're a super patient company and we like to help people learn how to be awesome at their job

This is a part-time gig to start but will likely grow into something bigger. Interested in applying? Take a look at our companion company, Secure Data Kit and send us an email with 200 words on what you think Secure Data Kit is (note: we're not looking for accuracy; we're wanting to see how you write). Also feel free to send along any writing examples that you think will help tell your story.

Note: we’re looking for an individual to work with us, not an agency. Thanks!
