Job Title: Operations Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Remote (Preference for candidates based near Seattle, WA but we'll talk to awesome people anywhere)
Standard Co is a data management company with two primary focuses:
- Helping global health organizations collect, manage, and analyze data via our data platforms Standard Data and NTDeliver. What this basically means is we work with WHO, CDC, Gates Foundation, and a variety of others to help them better understand where disease is happening and when they will need medicine to treat those diseases.
- Working with school districts better understand their students so they can design real time intervention strategies. Imagine being able to seamlessly and in real time combine data about attendance, behavior, grades, and standardized test scores all in one place
We are a remote-first organization with folks spread around the globe focused on innovation, impact, and having a little bit of fun along the way. We’re in need of someone to help keep us organized, taking some of the administrative and operational burden off of the leadership team. If you’re the sort of person who likes to show up to a meeting 60 seconds early, you’ll probably like working with us.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update internal systems, including Notion for knowledge management and organization
- Update and manage customer relationship management (CRM) databases
- Draft and send professional emails to clients and partners
- Coordinate shipping and logistics for company-related needs
- Assist with scheduling, document preparation, and other administrative tasks
- Support ad hoc operational projects as assigned
- Manage invoicing
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience with productivity tools such as Notion, CRM software, and email platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a remote environment
- Located in or near Seattle, WA for occasional in-person coordination (preferred but not required)
- You have no problem telling TJ what to do (he really, really, really needs someone to tell him what to do)
Commitment:
- 10-15 hours per week with potential to expand as needed
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
